Jay William Ellis was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on October 3, 1990, to Daniel and Jenny Ellis. He was raised in Southeastern Wisconsin, and started playing guitar at the age of 14 , and has been in local bands around the Kenosha area since he was 16. Jay in 2013 signed with his friend and producer, Mark Hannes at Continuum Records. He released his first debut EP Beyond The Coil in 2014.
